"Equip-A-Saint Box - Acolyte pin"
Item Description
In many churches younger children begin their service to the congregation by becoming Acolytes. Amoung the duties of the acolyte
is lighting the candles. In a way lighting a candle might be likened to the beginning wisdom and awarness in a person.
The light of Christ shines in the heart and mind of such a person because of the knowledge of the truth of God.
That is begun by the witness of another person who is guided by his/her own light from God. I believe this is a fitting addition to the Equip-A-Saint Box.
This is because a Saint would be involved in making others aware of the truth of God by the witness of his/her words and actions.
