Can God speak new words today that were not originally spoken by Jesus or written in Bible texts?
The way God may inspire us to remember or think new thoughts remains a mystery.
Truly, it is not being mindful of the well being of our neighbor or ourselves that is the root of sin.
It is easy to say that God did not design me well enough to choose correctly all the time.
God can design with perfection so why are we in the position of dealing with wrong choices in the first place?
The goal would not be to believe we can claim salvation for ourselves while we place any emphasis or pleasure
in condemning our neighbor. In fact, if we do that, Jesus might say we never knew Him.
We are also reminded of the quality of creation in 1 Timothy 4:4 "For everything God created is good."
And, I think it would be true that this applies to everything.
Now contrary to that old wisdom, here I am suggesting that by virtue of our creation we are each Children of God already.
Are we called only to a personal relationship to an invisible Christ or God, or are we instructed to relate to the Christ
who is actually only visible in our neighbor? Maybe the goal is to actually do the work to follow the command of God in Christ,
rather than trying to discern with our imperfect knowledge or wisdom, which among us will deserve heaven or hell.
Galations 5;14 (NIV) "The entire law is summed up in a single command: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
