What about the Company?

		Why am I here? The Creative Light Filtering Company was formalized as a business in 1998. I did this because I had been designing and making stained glass windows for many years. I did not sell them because I made each window as a gift. When you look at the windows in the museum, those windows were all created as specially designed unique gifts. By the way, all of the windows in the museum were made using the copper foil technique. In other words, they are all real stained glass windows, not imitations of stained glass. The patterns are all original. Over the years, I began to wonder if I should not offer to make and sell numbered versions of some of the windows that might have universal appeal. However, I never actually decided to do this, even though I began to visualize what I might do. I established an initial web presence on April 16, 2000, but it was a rather crude effort. This new website for the Creative Light Filtering Company is to help me specialize in the use of meaningful symbols/words. This includes products besides stained glass windows. The online-store that has been allocated space in the website will offer a way I can make those symbols and words available to a broader audience than those people that have, up until now been given the fruits of my efforts. So be patient, and watch for changes in this web site. Recently, I created, and have introduced for sale, a series of note cards that use images of the original stained glass you see in the museum. They are now available in my online-store. I am adding this paragraph to announce the addition of a new product to the company. We have just published our first book, The Three Things, which I have written as a way to consider the Heart, the Cross, and the Crown. I use those symbols as a way to remember the Love, Truth, and Grace of God. In the words of the book I share my thinking on a variety of topics concerning God, life, people, and things. The purpose is to address the way to achieve the possibility of Romans 8:28 "And we know all things work together for good to them that love God", through focus on the command from Galations 5:14 "love your neighbor as yourself" which is the way to love God. See the online-store for details. Along with the new book we have decided to make another product available as a special order item. We call it the *The Equip-A-Saint Box*. When we provide a box we custom make it for a designated recipient. It does not cost as much as a stained glass window but the collection of items and the box make it fairly expensive. In other words, there is no cheap stuff in the box. Please see the online-store for details about the items included and the ordering information.
